While I haven’t personally used Steendam Landscape Solutions yet, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with the owner through his time as a snowboard coach with Backside Nines Inc. His leadership, work ethic, and attention to detail were always evident on and off the snow. We hired Cole and his crew for our backyard renovation. We added a retaining wall, paving stone walkways and stone firepit. We normally do this work ourselves as my husband is in construction and has a hard time passing off work he can do himself, but there was a level of trust in Cole for him to take this project on. There were no regrets! Cole is a very hard and conscientious worker, and he has a great attention to detail, which is important in this line of work. We were very impressed with the entire process - from the grunt work at the beginning to the finishing touches at the end. He and his crew were very respectful and approachable. After the job was complete we had our neighbors ask for his contact info as they were also watching the process and impressed. We have no hesitation in recommending Cole. We love our new space and will enjoy it for years to come.
We LOVE our new landscaping! Cole was great to work with. We had a vision of what we wanted our new design to look like but had no clue where to start. Cole listened to our ideas and was able to bring it all to life, incorporating new design that tied into our old while staying within our budget and keeping the design inline with our vision and needs for the space. Cole is my grandson and last year he did an incredible job of widening my drive way. This included digging out the dirt, placing the landscape cloth, adding large rock, and a top layer of limestone. The finished product is seamless with no issues when driving on it with my truck and trailer. I would recommend Cole for all landscape projects!

From a very young age-around 14-I had the pleasure of hiring Cole to help on the site of a new home I was building. Even then, Cole stood out. He approached every task with eagerness, respect, and a genuine willingness to help wherever he could. His maturity, politeness, and strong work ethic were beyond his years, and it was clear from the start that he was someone special. It's been inspiring to see him continue to grow and now take the next steps in pursuing his dreams. I want to offer my heartfelt congratulations as he embarks on his new endeavors. We would love to recommend Cole and SLS to anyone who would have landscaping needs. We have seen his work and notice his attention to detail and quality. Although we haven't used his services other than him showing up to finish some digging when his grandpa was paving our driveway, he made himself available to help out. Cole is known for his excellent work ethic and motivation to hard work, which we have noticed throughout his growing up. Comes home from work, eats something and then outside again to get more work done. He's a reliable young man and trustworthy.
